Hi Folks iam the new one . Iam reading for 14 months this Threads.

Now i have one Qustion pls post your pics of wearing an Hercules/ Halfbelt Aero long.

I cant decide between this two, and i need your help

I have been meaning to take pictures of my Aero to compare with when new as it’s so nicely worn in now.

Here is my Aero Long Half Belt after some wear.






I would like slightly longer sleeves but then again I like the way I can show a bit of cuff.

Even thought it’s a relaxed fit it does on occasion feel slightly restrictive when zipped up (rarely do this) but it’s not a problem.

I find it’s a versatile jacket which is why it gets worn a lot.

It looks very good worn in. Is the sleeve length due to its being a sale item?

When you say restrictive, where do you mean — across the chest or around the shoulders, perhaps?

Yes it was indeed a sale item.

The restriction is due to the deep cut of the arm holes. Only noticeable when lifting the arms up sideways.

The leather is so heavy, it’s fantastic. Not every ones cup of tee I’m sure but I am enjoying breaking it in.

And, here are some pics of an Aero "Herc" for comparison:

I visited Aero in person, so I was able to pick out my lining, and order two inside pockets, one zip on the right, one snap on the left at no extra charge. Will and Amanda are great people.

I hope this helps in your decision making. My Herc is about a year and a half old now, and somewhere in the last six months it quit fighting me, relaxed, and now the vintage FQHH fits like an old flannel shirt. Well, nearly. Anyway, good luck Stephan. Would that all of life's choices were so pleasant, 'ey?

I think a long halfbelt front with a Hercules back might be the answer if that was a consideration.

No, no arm-raising issues. Actually, Creeping Past, if I

had my druthers, I'd do a Herc front with that cool piping, and slanted pocket covers, and the Long Half-Belt back with the bi-swing thing going on. Wow! Now, you've got me daydreaming...

You could spend hours thinking about this sort of thing... And before long you're right back where you started, with a sketch of jacket x with a jacket x back. Not that I've actually done that.

But armholes are a consideration...

James, that is a nice looking jacket. Do you ride a motorcycle while wearing it, and if so, how do you like it?

I have been toying with the idea of a long 1/2 belt, and your pics have about put me over the edge.
