Thank you for the info. I'm out of town, so I'll have to look inside the sweatband later. I do have this pic which probably won't help. View attachment 396092
Yeah, no real info there.

Mid-to late 60s (possibly even 70s) stingy with an overwelt brim edge treatment. The liner tip and size tag are the clues I'm using. That Stetson logo in the liner tip shows up early to mid-60s. The square size tag, as well. I don't think they introduced metric sizing until at least the 80s.
Not a whole lot of value, likely, as it's the older hats and styles that command the market.
I was wondering if any of you might know anything about this hat of mine. It belonged to my Great Uncle and after he passed away, I kept it with me. He only wore it once in a while, and always kept it in its original box. My hat friend, Lobo, thinks it may be from the 50's and is in the style called Tijuana. I'd love any input! I’ll let others who have personal experience give you more details, but it’s a nice hat. It’s the Stetson version of the Dobbs brand Gay Prince.
There should be another label on the felt behind the leather sweatband. It should be right next to (usually to the right) of the re-order tag shown in your photos. Can you add a photo of that label?
Great hat. It’s a casual hat as opposed to a dress hat and it’s a bit showy….I like it! Great piece of family history.
I'm trying to decide if I should sell it to someone that would appreciate it. It's far too big for me. So finding out info about it would be beneficial I guess. Like I've read in other posts, there's little to no info about this hat or its history, so I really appreciate your input.
