thank you a lot for your answers ,wow 40 jackets...i am a real newbie than with my 5 :)

40 I can count.

Here is a cafe racer I got on the really trim side. For reference I am 6ft 2 and 180 with 32 inch jeans. This one hurt. It looked great and was a lovely goat - by Ironheart which I got used. Unfortunately after 4 weeks of wearing it I realized it was too f-n trim. I struggled to breath and eat in it. Bloody pointless so I moved it on.

i have to say that the shepperd tartan lining was a good choice. i think it really suits the blue vicenza. blue sateen cotton in the arms for comfort

Eating is overrated. You should have absolutely kept this and just held your breath, it looks fantastic!

I lost 0.5" on all my heavy leather. Mid-weight hides don't really shorten. I hot-soaked the sleeves on a Shinki jacket and apart from bringing up the grain *a lot*, it did nothing to change the length. What did adjust it a bit was long-term wear, ie 5 years, which developed creases in the cuffs that took a cm or two off.

if i made the jacket again i would have them make it with a light taper to shred off 2 inches at the belt line, but i agree that that is really just a minor detail.
arm lenght not so sure... i should have ordered it half an inch longer, my fault. i prefer the arms to be longer, and didnt think the board racer would need that much longer arms compared to the cafe racer where the shoulder fits looser. ( i did add 1,5 inches but that wasnt enough)
However this is a wonderfully made jacket as usual with aero, and a compliment magnet, by far the most compliments i have ever gotten for a leather jacket. and Holly is just really nice to deal with.
so for now i think i am going to keep it (there is this fear about the creases taking .5 inch off...). if i decided to change, i would have to buy a new one and let them sell it via aero, but that would mean lots of extra money

Johnson leathers in San Francisco can trim the waist for you.
They trimmed the body and biceps on my Vicenza Board racer for me.
