Help me sell my homburg!

I posted this in the classified section last week, but nobody seems interested, so I'm planning on offering it on ebay. Since I've never sold a hat on ebay before, I'd love some advice on how to have a successful auction.

Also, if anyone can tell me anything about this hat (date, value, etc.) that would be very much appreciated as well.

I can't say that I've ever seen that liner style before, but it has a "recent" look to me. And homburgs usually have ribbon-bound brim edges, so yours is anomalous in that regard.
How's the felt?

As a buyer, I'll tell you what I look for in a hat auction. Good, clear information. Tell them what you see - the color (despite the photo), any damage or marks, what's on the sweatband, size, and measurements. If there's a tag in it, include that info. Instead of paying to post a bunch of pictures, post one good one. If you want to do two, make one of the liner. Then, in your description, offer to e-mail more pictures to those who are interested. I usually do that, and it works well for me.
Good luck,
NB

Tony is right on the money about the date on this hat. It is from around 1970 and was called the "Americana" style. Basicaly it is a homburg with pinches. I doubt the style lasted too long but I know that Hatco is trying to revive it now.
