Ray Charles could tell the difference,,,its not just a re design, it's a completely different jacket, they are similar in so much as the are both leather,and a crosszip.

Vanson themselves says they took the Highwayman and redesigned it so I guess Ray Charles worked at Vanson ..... Thanks for the constructive help .

Unfortunately it's a little bit of both when buying used . I'm tall and wide shouldered/ chest (6 foot 3 inches 49 inch chest . ) , not many options out there . I would like a black motorcycle jacket , single rider preferred but open to double rider . Trying to keep it under $600 shipped .

Vanson chopper is the new stuff,nothing like the early leather.
The other 4 jackets are miles better leather. That's not to say the new stuff isn't good,it is.

Yeah the chopper leather is definitely a notch below. However, boy do I really need to pick up a vanson at some point

Lol if it was $29, you'd be overpaying for this trash.

Don't buy that. Especially not from that psycho seller.
