Grilling a late lunch and sipping a Oak Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout in a vtg. Stetson Startoliner.

High ABV so it is a sipping Stout. Aged and bold this beer is not average! I have a friend coming in a bit and we will share this beer with the bourbon aftertaste.

Best, Eric -

Just watched the first half of Lonesome Dove on DVD. If I watch the 2nd half I'll never make it upstairs. Wore this Tom Horn out to dinner tonight & had a great Delmonaco steak.

That is a really nice photo, the light highlights on the hat and drink, make me want them both.

The Dorer -50 and a Spotted Cow ale smuggled in from Wisconsin from the New Glarus Brewing Co. A four ingredient brew where yeast remains in the bottle so it's a bit cloudy. Should have poured it into a proper glass to show this, but patience is not one of my virtues. A full flavored ale that's a bit fruity but not annoyingly so.

That is such a fine looking Dorer, nice and smooth looking. These fine libations are making me thirsty, I'm headed for the patio.

I see you made it to the patio. That's a fine looking Resistol and brew. I thought that living in the Rocket City I'd be able to find some Space Dust around here and give it a try. The nearest I could find is about 30 miles away. Maybe the next time I'm headed in that direction.

Thanks for the comment on the Dorer. It really is a nice hat. I was a bit reluctant at first having never handled one and it's at the bottom of their spectrum but I enjoy it quite a bit.

I know it's a little early yet, but I couldn't wait to try this. Best description I can give is a higher abv Porter, with coffee and chocolate flavors, followed by mild hop aftertaste. Very good, may have to buy the rest of them, since it's limited release. Oh yea, had to wear my Resistol Panda for this tasting
