After being on a vacation trip I did some shopping today before the weekly sales end after tomorrow. On sale I bought Glenfiddich 12 which is a staple of mine & 2x750ml of Aberlour 16 Double Cask which is always a treat. To bridge the gap in the age statement I wore my Knox 15. Next wks sales start Wednesday & it can be Christmas all over again!

Gonna begin work on a new bottle of Aberlour 16 Double Cask tonight. Finished in a Sherry oak cask, if I decide I'm in the mood for a little more smoke flavor I have some Prince of Wales Macanudos for that.

About the only way I know is whether the case is a wood box covered in leather or an ABS molded suitcase; whether the utinsels have celluloid, antler, or horn handles, etc.

Cool travel bars. Mine is leather bound. I guess the case is wood, though it isn't obvious. The can opener has a celluloid handle, similar to tortoise shell color.

I have been cleaning hats for a few early morning hours. Naptha baths, brushing, spending time on a block and steaming. The Holiday weekend (USA 4th of July Holiday) and because I CAN I have been sipping a" MN finest IPA (voted on by a food group)," Fulton 300.

Well, quite a lot probably, but I'm enjoying this one with my VS Milan Dualist.

Edit - I'd not tried Boddington's for a while and compared to our local Pale Ales and IPAs, it is actually rather tasteless and boring.

Ja ja ja, nobody ends on the floor, see Cognac has 300 aromatic elements, whiskey or whisky has 160, while Tequila has 600 elements, so this tasting and matting or matching sessions are amazing, specially with premium brands,

It's a blend of Reposado, Anejo, & Extra Anejo, then aged two yrs in a French Oak cask. Chamuco, it is really smooth served neat & doesn't have the bite of a Blanco. I bought two bottles & I'm going back tomorrow for a couple more for my cellar while they're available.

I'm no tequila expert, but I've never seen an aged tequila that was clear. Where is the color transfer from the aging Cask?
