Yesterday evening I found an opportunity to enjoy a dram of Aberlour Casg Annamh. A perfect sip on a warm early evening.

I did lead the whiskey in the afternoon with a Surley pilsner.

I grilled a simple breakfast of buffalo sausage, potatoes, carrots and red peppers. An Omni sour was a perfect sip during my morning efforts.

Weekend anniversary celebrations at a friend’s bar in Osaka. Tasting some new ones…

All at bargain prices because the owner is a long time friend. Special prices have never been requested or expected, but are always appreciated.
We enjoyed all the whiskies. The Kavalan gave me strong Marzipan flavours. I still really enjoy Lagavulin, even at eight, rather than 16 years and it beats Ardbeg for mine, but that’s where my tasting notes begin and end.
Today, on our actal anniversary, we cracked open a bottle of Aberfeldy. Another first for us, we are enjoying the creamy, slightly smoky, and honey-like characteristics.

Looks like you chose some good ones. I bought a bottle of Arran Robert Burns when the distillery first reopened. Never had their 10.

HH spent under a Resistol 3X with hand felted edge & a few O’dell 90 Schilling Scottish Ales,

then home for a couple drams of Ardbeg An Oa Single Malt neat.

Home yesterday after some travel I sipped a couple of Omni Pilsners. Today had me enjoying a Guinness will grilling brunch.

We have had so much wind this early Spring so far, it has been dangerous to cook with charcoal or wood. I’m ready; I bought some alligator tail for kabobs & some Burgoo.
