1950's Stetson One-Hundred "100" with a Caribou Coffee Depth Charge while running errands. Beautiful day here today.

Jack; Coffee and hat are special. Thanks for sharing a pic of your 100 - pics show the felt to be pristine.

This afternoon I am sipping 2 shots of espresso gearing up for the efforts of this afternoon and evening at work. My cap is ready.

Getting this thread back on Pg. 1.

I missed the tapping party last night for Granite City's Bump in the Night Black IPA, so I rectified that during Happy Hour tonight while wearing my 3X OR in gray. The gray looks dusty in strong direct light but it isn't.

Bump in the Night (~7% ABV) has a strong flavor of coffee, hops & a bit of chocolate up front; only a little bit of chocolate I could detect & no vanilla. Almost borderline bitter in aftertaste when the citrus & strong hops flavors kick in. The contrast was interesting at first but after a couple it became too bitter for me. Bump in the Night is probably a blend of their Broad Axe Oatmeal Stout & their Batch 1000 Double IPA.

So I had their Broad Axe Oatmeal Stout (5.5% ABV) for comparison (scientific purposes) only. The Stout is milder all around; milder flavors of coffee, chocolate & vanilla up front; coffee after. A bit more naturally sweeter without the bitter citrus & hops aftertaste.

Jack; I have in mind to find my nearest Granite City to sample the Stout and Night. They look delicious on a cold winter morning.

Borsalino paired with a Springfield Brewing Company’s Tsarry Night Variant as we wait for the open bar at the wedding reception to start.

A lot going on in the Variant. A lot, but a lot of tastes that I bet I would enjoy. Thanks for sharing.

VS Sportaire and a little 'shine.

RBH; Sportair continues to be an impressive fedora. The Arkansas Moonshine bottle appears to nearly empty. You need to remedy that. Best, Eric -

Eric, you might like their Batch 1000 Double IPA also.

Since I won't be making a Christmastime visit to KY this month I decided to place an order & get some Chaplin Hill coming my way. To fill out a 4-bottle case I included a bottle of their Spirit Whiskey, 80% White Whiskey & 20% KY Bourbon. I haven't had a good blended Spirit Whiskey in a long time.

I really like that combination of hat bands Rusty! The tequila is now on my list to try... :)

Thank you Sir! The bands are something Mike and I came up with.
The Tequila is one I found in the border town of Nuevo Progreso. My father in law and I love the cabrito at one of the local eating establishments so when I saw this I had to try it.
At the time you could not get it in the States but I have since found it here.

Just stirred together the ingredients of my Southern Burgoo in a stockpot so it can simmer until game time tonight, Chiefs vs Chargers. When I added the Bourbon to the beef stock I decided it wasn't too early to pour a shot for myself. Good evening to all!

Great hat but dang, HJ. I'm a bit of an amateur chef and thought I was familiar with most dishes Southern. Had to google Burgoo. It's on the to do list. Coming soon.

Probably a million ways to make it BB, but the meats I use are chuck roast, pork roast (picnic roast), country bacon & some fatback. Always better the second or third day, & freezes well in quart Mason jars.
