I am feeling fatigued after the week. I have been relaxing, while outside, wearing a vtg. Mallory. The ribbon treatment is special to my eyes. I offer cheers (https://dangerousmanbrewing.com/beer/sour-d-7-righteous-babe-watermelon-sour/ ) with a sour IPA. IMO, it is a great cool Fall day beer choice. BTW: On the grill are lamb chops - they smell delicious.

My wife offered the opinion that when you are tired, any beer would do - blasphemy I say to myself (truly an inside voice). My outside voice - "perhaps you have a point."

Anyone tried Knob Creek Maple Bourbon? It's a blend with Rye & maple, supppsed to impart a very smoky flavor. I keep thinking of smoky maple cured bacon; not sure that's a good thing in Whiskey. On sale this wk. Undecided.

I probably won't buy a bottle. Need to stock up on too many of my "staples". Would probably buy a drink to try it if I happen to run into it out somewhere.
