No, I just have a pressing project at work that I need to complete and this is my method of procrastination! LOL

Honestly, I like hat boxes almost as much as I like hats. My office looks like a hat shop.

Bro you don’t have to sell me on that ... I’m a hatbox junkie you know that

This one just showed up at the studio

My Knox Homburg has its box, and it's awesome. I am seeking another hat, and i really wish more people had their hat boxes.

With all these western theme boxes, I realized I had not posted mine.....the top one is from the 50's the bottom from the late 70's. It is intersting to note the simular illustrations of the roundup and branding imagery. The top one came with the hat pictured which is an early Stetson Longhorn 3X model. Note its original pin. A good lounge member identified it for me. I have since aquired a 1953 Miller Stockman catalogue that shows this hat. Mine is an awsome silverbelly that has very fine grey and brown heathered tones throughout. AND it is actually my size!!
Best,
M

Yes.....that was quite the find....I posted more pictures and the story behind finding it under the "Western Anyone?" thread I believe....what I did not say in the story, as it was almost too crazy to state, and well, I kind of forgot, but it was on my birthday when I found it.........I must state I was quite unawares at the time I found the hat, as I am one of those that is not to concerned about the recognition and I usually forget what day it is.... my wife later remarked about that when I was talking about the hat with some friends.
Best,
M
