This exquisite hat came to me by way of fellow Bartender Andykev. I love it, the crown is amazing... very Bogart. The felt is even thinner that Optimo's feather weights.

Great hat Matt. Real Bogie styling:)
I love that centre dent bash. How old would you say that hat is? If you were to make it open crown and drop a coin on it from a foot would it make a good dent? Weird question, but it does give a good idea of the softness of the felt:cheers1:

Looks great! Question....does that paricular Borsolino logo on the liner signify any particular vintage? (as opposed to their logos which include color)...and if so, what vintage does it indicate?
Thanks!

Matt --

Beautiful hat, and in a hard-to-find color -- at least I am finding it hard to locate light gray hats with decent brim lengths.

I am envious.

Also, who is that cool-looking guy in your avatar (with the equally cool hat)?

Which Bogey hat does it look like? I can't see the resemblence.

Wrong crease, wrong brim treatment, although the color may be similiar. Perhaps I am looking at the wrong film? I guess the side shots of both hats look similiar, now that I look again, but gosh I can't see it anywhere else. I could not pass your new Borsalino off as a Bogey fedora to someone looking for one though. But, I do like your new hat! Fedora

That is a nice looking hat Matt Deckard...

Interestingly, the only borso I have is very similar in style except the brim has a cavanagh edge...the intererior is almost a reverse image. The lining appears to be the same, the logo is the same but in blue and the sweat is the same except the leather is a soft bluish gray..

With all the dscussion on dating Borsalino..It's very cool to see one so much like the one I've got and to try and put a time period to it..... [huh]
