there are plenty of vintage stingy brims that can be had in your size. I would not buy a modern wool felt. shameless plug but I have a vintage stingy brim for sale in your size and in your price range in the classified section

Hi

I DON'T have anything for sale, but I will SECOND History Teach's suggestion that you NOT buy a wool hat. If you get it in the rain, it will SHRINK. It used to fit you, now it fits your ventriloquist's dummy. There is a thread here promoting wool hats, and they are fine until they get wet. I really need to put up pictures of my Wool British Bush Hat with the pug on it. The hat and pug don't really touch anymore.

sorry if it seemed like I was trying to sell something lol. I would tell you to stay away from wool felt even if I didn't have a hat in your size for sale. They are of poor quality and if you search on eBay for the classifieds here you can find vintage hats in your size and your price range. I had to learn this lesson the hard way by buying a crappy wool hats.

I'm not sure whether you're in the UK or US, with the Amazon.co.uk link but the dollar reference.

If you're in the UK The HatCentre sells Czech made fur-felt hats from £40 GBP, and there's a Polish company on ebay selling Polish made rabbit fur hats for slightly under that.

Alternatively, as suggested, vintage is a very good option, particularly if you are in the US - you should easily find a nice stingy brim trilby for that. If you're in the UK there are less available, and ordering from the US normally involves prohibitive postage and customs duties.
