I can see collecting these little boxes becoming addictive real soon. Great to see such attention to detail in such an item. I don't think these gift boxes were ever a success in Europe. I've only ever seen a handful of them in hat-shops.

A fun opportunity to revive this thread. I happened to run across from an estate auction the largest collection of mini gift certificate hats I’ve ever seen for sale in one place. I’m unsure how many ended up going to the same new owner... but I thought it would be an interesting addition here with some screenshots of the overview

I grabbed some closeups of some of the cooler ones I may post later

For sure.. at first I was struck by the volume. But as I looked closer I was impressed by the variety of brands... and also how different and elaborate some of them were. Especially the little boxes.
