I really like pins because it adds your own unique look to a hat and allows you to customize it even more. You guys have some really great pins! :eusa_clap ,mine aren't quite as unique but I like them all the same.

all of my pins:

The Indiana Jones one came with my "official" Indiana Jones hat (which I now have the flag pin in). There's two reasons why I don't like the IJ pin: it leaves TWO big holes in the ribbon and it makes it look like a little kid hat lol. After joining the lounge, I realized how un-authentic the "official" IJ hat is, and I did some reshaping to make it look less "mass produced" and more Indiana Jones.

The big American flag isn't really a pin, but it's an aluminum clip-type thing I got an an "Armed Forces Day" event

My only qualm about pins is this: they make big ol' holes in the ribbon!

Is there anything you can do about the holes or is it something that you just have to accept when you put a pin on your hat?

I've been enjoying all the different hat pins posted; figured it was time I posted something in return.

I've got a number of pins that will make them onto hats some day... just need to figure out which hat goes with which pin! This one, though, was a no-brainer for my Batsakes-blocked Panama Bob:

I picked up this pin during my recent e-bay shopping spree. I thought it would make a nice addition to some hat one of these days.

I also won two Open Roads and two hat racks. My closet and our bedroom seem to be getting more and more cluttered with boxless hats.

The pin looks almost pristine in real life, this photo does not do it justice that may be why I got it for under $15 !!!!!
