I picked up this pin during my recent e-bay shopping spree. I thought it would make a nice addition to some hat one of these days.

I also won two Open Roads and two hat racks. My closet and our bedroom seem to be getting more and more cluttered with boxless hats.
Very nice Bob!
Here is the pin I put on my Buckaroo Hatters 'Ranger'

I know, Don RBH. You, your pin and your Ranger are my inspiration for this buy. I'm thinking about asking Mike to make me a hat for it, but I'm trying to slow down for a while. :rage:

Here's poor picture of a TWA pin I won on ebay today.

aeec_1.JPG

The seller's description:
Vintage TWA airplane pin back. Is from the Propeller days. This plane has four props. Measures about 1 by 3/4inches. I assume it was one by TWA employee. Is silver color with the TWA on the wings in red and two red lines on the tail. In very good condition.

I'm thinking it will go on my Stratoliner once I get it back from JP.

I've just gotten a new pin from Ebay as well:

I promptly put it on my Campdraft:

And here it is on me; this is as close as my 7 5/8 extra long oval head will probably ever get to a Stratoliner:

Here's a pin I brought back from Italy. It's the international union's headquarters logo. I thought it would look good on this 2 toned blue that I made for my last Conversion.

The China Clipper

I snagged this screwback Pan Am Martin M-130 Flying Boat pin on ebay last evening. Probably made in the 30's or 40's. 7/8" long. I'll wear it on my Stetson Flagship once it arrives.

Civilian Conservation Corps (a WPA public works relief program for unemployed men, focused on natural resource conservation from 1933 to 1942) Company #1764 out of Lawrence, KS. It'll be goin' on a thin ribbon of some sort.
