That seems to be a great look for you . Well Done.

After lurking on The Fedora Lounge for months and finally joining up I was inspired to take the vintage haircut plunge. Here is my attempt at a Golden Era-ish haircut which replaces a longer messier look. I'm not real certain what part of the Golden Era I am emulating, just went for clean and classic.

Search the forum for "pencil moustache"…

Otherwise, sideburns would be rather uncommon, a pointed goatee seen here and there, a slightly stronger moustache among British soldiers, and that's probably about it for "typical". Still, everything can be found documented, as usual.

Pencil moustaches can get creepy in the modern era, alas! I suppose a military moustache could do the trick

I think I was fairly clear. Pencil moustaches can get creepy. They are not creepy as a rule, but these days they can be viewed as such. I teach children, so creepy is something that I have to be concerned about. I've always admired them myself, though I should think that I would have to go to someone else to sculpt it for me.

I actually don't. :)

There are probably about 30 threads that cover topics that come up often. They are gathered in a single page of links in a secret spot for safekeeping, and when one of them needs to be hauled out, there they are, ready to grab.

We kind of got tired of playing Search Monkey. tm ten times a day. lol

For the better part of a decade I have been trying to get my hair cut the way I wanted, even going so far as telling some people "think of WWII" or describing in great detail exactly what I wanted. I was never wholly satisfied with what I got. I think this thread will do the trick, as it has pictures of all lengths and from all angles. Now I just need some hair.
