Has anyone been in touch with Thedi recently? I sent an email a month ago and still no answer...
I would assume Corona might slow things down a bit, or are they completely shut down and not even answering emails?
I contacted him before, I sent a email every 3 days, he replied my 4th email. He seems very busy.

Theodoros said that he currently receives roughly 100 e-mails per day plus all the existing and new orders and now the Covid-19 closure. Trying to keep both his employees and customers happy is challenging.....we all have to be patient
I contacted him 2 months ago, I can see he is even busier now.

I think it's a small operation that's facing a growing demand, and they haven't figured out yet how to adapt. I also suspect Theodoros to be in a creative phase, and he seems more interested in developing new models than producing current ones. On top of that, the covid crisis certainly doesn't help.

I contacted him 2 months ago, I can see he is even busier now.

I have been avoiding harrassing him with my weird ideas for that exact reason lol

Will catch up when this is all over with :)

I guess we all have to learn to be more patient during this period.

First, I sincerely hope he does not get ill with the virus, and that any and all of his affected employees and family members recover quickly and in good health!

That said, if he works via e-mail extensively, and has an Microsoft Office account, perhaps someone could help him learn of the "out of office" function that would at least let folks now of his current situation, and that he is not actively trying to ignore anyone. All of us are in one way or another "out of office" at leat most of the time presently.

Mine is the shearling jacket I already have. I've also got a sunburst coming for autumn/spring weather. Between those two that pretty much cover all the seasons, I'm honestly having difficulty thinking of any other jacket I would want. That's probably for the better.

Well I do kind of want a flight jacket of some sort.

As lots of others have noted above my grail jacket tends towards the next one I want/need. My current grail jacket is an Aero Sunburst in Natural Vicenza. I missed out on this one while taking advice from ‘the fashion police’ (my wife), who dislikes natural leather. http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/product-detail.php?id=4709
Maybe I should have bought it and stashed for a week or two and pretended I’d had it for ages - like she does with new shoes

I say this with all respect, your jacket obsessions are bi-polarish. “Scary” little window into your mind lol.

They are cool though. I would look like a Sinaloan trafficker in it, but cool nonetheless.
Oh I know I’m on the spectrum. Where exactly... that’s the thing I can’t quite figure out.

This. My taste has settled on one specific thing and I'm happy to have reached that point.

Glad to hear that you have reached the point to know your grail jacket. Looks pretty cool. Do they use horsehide or the veg tanned cowhide for this one? Price is relatively high. Have you already ordered it?

I've just found more details on LL London webshop...price is standard in Europe (860GBP) but 192000 JPY is really high...

Ton, I might have just found your next grail!

Actually interested. Can anyone ID the maker? XD

This one is only horsehide. People don't have many nice things to say about their HH but I dunno, looks good on pics.

IMO there is barely any difference between their cowhide and their horsehide.
They are clearly aiming for similar qualities/characteristics in both hides.
I wouldn't say one is better than the other, they are both pretty thin, they are both pretty smooth, they both lack character i think.
It's the classic fashion smooth shiny black leather look, don't expect amazing grain or patina.

(the HH does have a bit more "memory effect", it stays in the shape of your body a bit more, and it has a tiny bit more surface creasing, but honestly, going from one to the other is barely a noticeable change)

HH on the left, CH on the right:
