I’m reluctantly selling this beauty but could use the money. John made this for me in April this year. It’s not even been worn outside the house. Practically brand new with some minor scuffs here and there. All knits are nice and itchy and the leather is soft pliable but still substantial. It feels like a leather jacket should. And the sweet leather smell is out of this world.
It’s seal brown Shinki with brick cottoning lining. Contrasting dull red stitching, United car snaps. It’s my dream jacket but like I said could use the funds right now.
It’s tagged a 42 but I usually wear 44 and this is basically a 44S

John has quipped to me that he thinks a lot of the modern A-2 repros (including his own, of course, but also the other big names) could last a couple centuries. Tanning methods are a lot better now than they were in the early 20th century, and of course most of us don't abuse jackets the way they did.

I re measured around the outer edge of the arm and its just 26 from shoulder seem to end of knitted cuff. I'm not sure if that changes anything, probably not but thought Id let you know.
