Unfortunately it appears Allen and I can wear the same size. I purchased a Goodwear Ventura from him earlier his year and it is probably my favorite jacket.

I say unfortunately because I am always very tempted when he sells one of his Goodwears!

I am so glad you are enjoying it. A lot of thought and planning went into that jacket and of course John did beautiful work. My Modoc other than a few details is the same jacket but with no taper.

Have you come up in the queue yet, protein?

I had 2 emails about 6 months ago with didn’t lead to anything, now its over 3 years. I don’t want to bug John with emails considering what he has been through recently but there do seem to be new jackets coming up on the sales page

.....sometimes I think I should just cancel it and get an Eastman Californian instead and be done with it.

I’ve got 2 other Eastman’s now and they are damn nice jackets.

I think I would bug before I got to that point. The Eastman's are nice though. I always have to consider it when one comes up for sale.

I have tried on a Modoc, and they are beautiful!!!!
Give John a reminder email.
If you give up now, you'll really be missing out ;).

I have been trying to get in touch with them for two months, complete silence... Two years and a month, would like to know what is going on!

Same here. Been in the cue for almost 3 years now. I sent them a couple of emails, and left a voice mail...nothing. Complete silence. I assume they're still in business, only based on the scant signs of life on the web page. Just a simple reply would go a long way...

Good Wear - John and company... from my understanding he has an assistant to take care of correspondence and customer service. But maybe I'm wrong about that...which might explain the lack of response.

Hey you guys April will be 4 years on the queue for me.. get to the back of the line

Edged you out by getting my order in 3/31/2014. In a way this thread is reassuring that my order didn't slip through the cracks since I've been unable to establish contact. Given the circumstances I'll take the long term view.

I'm in 2 years and a month similar to Carlos and ya, no contact after a email and a voice message left.
Had no idea people have been in the queue for 4 years, it's way past time to check in with his customers regardless of what's going on personally.

Sorry. Not worth it. No way. I suppose nothing is lost (other than patience) as the deposit is relatively small but having tried one Ventura on. No way I'm waiting 2 (plus) years for that. Not knocking the jacket at all but I could get equally pleasing results much sooner and with much less frustration.
I know, I know...but shinki, but stitching etc, etc...still a no.
