I've been wearing that Brooks every day. I wore it out tonight. I've got more compliments on that jacket than any I own, just crazy. It's nice and easy to wear. I think people like the color.. Lot of good leather out there for very little money.

Hi there. Total rookie in the forum after lurking for a while. Can anyone chime in on the age of my first purchase? Brooks Cafe Racer (511?) with the old label, (pre 1978, I guess). The most odd part for me are the buttons on the collar, which I haven't seen on any other Brooks Cafe Racer. Maybe a repair? Anyone else got these buttons?

A nice older Brooks. They often used that snap design but I can't tell you their significance (maybe used when they were out of the signed snaps?). I have seen many Brooks jackets with those.
