I think I have a couple different types of size tag. I was interested if the reorder tag was one with the eagle and whatnot.

No - my tag is very plain Jane.

I was convinced last year when we talked that mine was made by Dalton but I don’t remember why. I could search for that discussion but I’m not that fussed - it must have been in the WHAYWT thread.

1948. Probably 10ish years before the hat in question was made

Thanks, barring any updated dating information I guess it's safe to assume that any non-Dalton His Excellency hats were made sometime between 1952 and 1964.
