Call me crazy, but this afternoon I BIN'd a tiny child's Langlitz for my 4 year old daughter.
The jacket was listed a few minutes before I happened upon it (while researching jacket ideas for myself). Taken by the cuteness of the thing (and the reasonable BIN), I rapidly clicked through the photos, speed-read the description, and pounced. It was a textbook impulse-buy and it went down fast. I leaned back, rubbing my chin and contemplating what I’d done.
The seller is newish, the auction photos are poor, and the posted measurements don't match up with the photo measurements. But it looks like a great little jacket and I really hope it fits.

Nice minimal design. I think it's a dress collar Cascade made of goatskin - a good hide for a small kid. Brass talon main zip and, I think, zip sleeves. Interior crayon pocket. No action back; it appears to be a single panel or perhaps (under the tape measure) a simple yoke. I'm smiling as I detail the ‘specs’ and I can't wait to see it in person.
There’s a long fade / former stain on the right shoulder extending way down along the sleeve. As long as there’s no damage to the leather I couldn’t care less.
I usually consider myself a sensible parent and I realize a Langlitz for a 4 year old is, in fact, preposterous. So be it.
