Georg, Looks great! I will see if I can find anything.
Very nice, Georg. Good catch. This is a very nice "Stratoliner" clone, fairly soft, nice to touch velt and bonded edge.
Don't know if "Danubius" is the model or brand. Not much left of the original tag. I presume from 1950-60's.

Garrett, It's fantastic! I am looking forward to seeing more when it arrives. I have a variety of JHS Greens but this one is the most brilliant.I forgot Stefan does not like the green. This color seems to be the only one I'm missing from Huckel (black, blue, brown, burgundy and an assortment of greys have already been acquired). Hopefully, it will clean up nicely and is larger than the 53cm the seller quoted it to be.
Wow, great liner too"Corona" "Deutsche Wertarbeit" possibly 1930s. The black Velour is fantastic and easily dry creases. I really like the unique liner design. There is no paper label and no company mark. I believe it could be the same company that made my "Neuheit" "Spitzenklasse" "Extra Fein" Velour.

Manfred, Great find! I think you are correct about a retail brand Castor/Beaver. I have seen a similar paper label format but of course no company info. I need to make a photo list of such labels + hats.Hello Gentlemen, It’s long time ago that I post a Hat here but today I have a nice Homburger for you.
The Brand name is Castor, maybe a Retailer Brand or a unknown Brand I am not sure. The sweatband is in superbe Condition also the hat itself. The brim is ca 6,5 cm and the size 59!
A fine gem. from the 50s
I forgot to mention, if anybody is looking for a Homburg in size 59. This hat is for Sale.
