Thanks! My guess is that they sourced complete Austrian Velour hats (other specialty finishes) from JHS, BB or AP. I don't have the Dalton plate (seller's photo). I am still thinking about purchasing these latest plates.

I see, that makes sense. I'm still trying to drum up some history on the Dalton brand. It's tough.

Anton Peschel Neutitschein, Hat Liner Print Plates, from the Nový Jičín (Neutitschein) factory.

I purchased a collection of old (probably 1930s and older) hat liner print plates (82 pieces) from the Czech Republic. They were found near Štramberk which is a short distance from Nový Jičín (Neutitschein) where Johann Hückel´s Söhne, Anton Peschel and Brüder Böhm were located.

I strongly believe the following two print plates are Anton Peschel Neutitschein.

The "Incroyable" is a stiff felt hat at 60 or 70 grams (just the hat body) which was super light weight. Manfred has a latter model 70 gram Rehfus & Cie "Zephyr".

"Nutria", is made of Monkey's hairs. (I checked and Monkey is also in the other languages! )

Aug. Wenzel Wien, measures 59cm, probably early to mid 1950s. This is my first August Wenzel and it was made for J. Listner's Neffe Wien. August Wenzel is listed in the 1925 "Austrian Hat Industry Guide" but I couldn't find any other information.

I see the sweatband on this Austrian/German hat was also attached using the "European method." I have seen this quite a bit as I look through old posts in threads. The vvvvvvvvvv stitching and attaching the sweatband in the front seem to have been a popular method. Its actually become my favorite as well.

Josh, Thanks! Yes it appears all my German and Austrian vintage hats with reed sweatbands are attached in the front. This is also the case with my vintage Borsalinos with reed sweatbands. Some are very hard to detect.
