I ordered a whole load of what I thought were felt hats spent over £100
What did I get well lots of military and fire service hats and these two East German creations
Not fedoras or trilbies or anything that great but nevertheless slightly historic.

That sounds about right could be a bit older (late 50s). Some leather conditioner / cleaner should help with the sweatband. Also a good steam should bring the form back. Nice find!

Thanks! It's interesting that some of the Hückel family retained the trademark rights in the 1980s. I don't believe they ended up doing anything with the brand.

Mayser Trademarks (1950s and later)

Mayser made hats under the Parker 713 Broadway New York brand name starting in 1960 (image from 1966). They also tradmarked the Hilton brand name in 1962 but no image is available.

Some straw and felt related trademarks from late 50s and early 60s.

Mayser registered a Ottmar Reich (went out of business in the 1990s) trademark in 1998 but it was withdrawn 2008.

Another great find, Steve. That Mayser produced Parker and Dreistern was new for me, but now It's clear that some big concerns as Mayser or Wegner produce the no name brands as Parker or Dreistern. I the past I saw some on the flea market ( Parker )!

It appears your site links to the DPMA site. I would like to find old trademarks that haven't been active for a long time. The ones online are either active or have fairly recently expired.

I found that the Möckel trademark was registered by the retail men's store Ernst Köln in 1965 and canceled in 1998. Ernst Köln also had hats made under their own brand name as well as selling the major brands like Mayser.
