Manfred, No I don't know anything about Indra. I know there were very high quality German cap makers but my concentration has been on soft and hard felt hats. I will have to look more into this industry. Here are a couple of great photo of Hans Albers in a cap.

My Hückels New Yorker is arrived. Wonderful Hat, he looks unworn.
The sweatband and liner looks new.. A shame, the stamp in the sweatband is not complete. It's a size 7, 56 and fits perfect!

I found this in the September 2, 1899 edition of Deutschen Hutmacher-Zeitung. Moeckel was the original maker of the Homburg hat for Edward VII. This is the first mention of the style as a Homburg Hat that I have run across in a German or Austrian publication of the late 19th or early 20th centuries. The use of English is directed towards export markets.

Thanks for posting! I have a couple M.W. hats but didn't know the name of the company.

Here is one of them. Very similar to the hat in the ad.

M.W. Diamant

Size 54cm, NOS with the original size tag.

Found this recently, together with two very old looking royal stetsons, made by Hutfabrikanten Halban und Damask, Wien:

This is a very rare find! Also a beautiful old Austrian Velour! I have been looking for a Halban und Damask Wien for a long time. RLK (Robert) saw a Topper listed a while back but this is the first soft felt I have encountered. What is the size? Here is a Halban und Damask Wien hat display stand of mine.

Yes again great find! What size is it? Also if you can take a photo of the paper label (assuming it has one) behind the sweatband I would be interested in seeing it.

It is a 58 (my size!). Here are the labels. The top one is the retailers label.

After some surgery (this is where my stamp collecting experience comes in handy) the bottom label is revealed. It looks like a special label for export, as it is written in English.
