J. Hückel´s Söhne 110th Anniversary booklet. It includes a short history (in German) of the company and some very nice lithographs. I had to be careful not to damage the pages while taking the photos.

WOW!!! What a history!! The photos in this book are so much rarer than early photos of Stetson, Knox, or Mallory. This book probably is one of only a handful that exist. I would imagine not a whole lot survived after WW1 and especially after WW2. Wonderful find! Thanks so much for sharing these incredible photos with us!! :eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap

The Hückel Extra arrived today. A very nice warm brown and shorter brim as I thought.
The felt is stiff and malleable! No Hückel Logo on the Sweatband, maybe a special retailer Sweatband.
Handwritten Numbers on a piece fabric and stamp with 1951

Manfred, Thank you doing the translation! Interesting to note they were able to capitalize from the impact of the Franco-Prussian War on Germany and France. Super find with the Hückel Extra. Is that 55 1/2 on the paper label?

It must have been reworked at a later time because the liner would have been stitched. It looks like a Weilheim liner to me so that would make it a very early one based on the 1951 sweatband stamp. It could also be a mix of different parts.

Hückel Durit Velour, size 6 1/2 Point. This is the beat up one with the rivets and no ribbon. I sent it off to Optimo and it came back looking great. As usual the JHS Velour finish is fantastic. It is unfortunate the liner logo is faded because it appears to be customized. I have a few other hats from Martin Brömme Nuremberg. I am pretty sure it's pre 1940 but it could be later.

Gypseyes, Welcome here!

Yes you have two nice Mayser hats. Both hats are Trachten Hats. The first black one is a Mayser Ausseer Trachten Hat. Traditionally Hat.
You wear it mostly in Bavaria or Austria. My guess, from the 70s. Mayser is a German Hat Manufacturer, still in business.
The second Hat is an Alpine Hat. Maybe Sichel fur felt! Relatively New.
