I'm really quite pleased with my new hat stretcher. I've seen one of this type with a little measuring guide attached. The stretch range in size 56-61.

It's German, no idea how old - 50's/60s? Maybe newer? It looks like it has never been used. The company that made it - Riefenstahl & Co. Hutformen u. Zubehör - is still in business making hat forms/blocks and accessories.

It's is currently trying to stretch a 1950s/60s homburg to my size...(the Peschel I bought a while back)

Wow Steve you are the King of Velour Hats, what a Beauty, you be right with Austrian Hat.
The Eagle looks like Austrian - - Preußen - - or Schlesien

The name I think is the owner of the Hat.

Concerning the eagle I´d vote for Brandenburg.

Dieter, Great to hear from you! I am pretty sure you are correct about it being Brandenburg. Thanks!

The crown appears to be similar including the top ornament.

Manfred, Thanks! I will try making contact with them. I was thinking they were a manufacturer or at least of this stretcher. I was hoping they might have other types of stretchers. I know of this judithm.com but they are just a supplier.

I know it is building a machine and forms
probably also specialized in the manufacture of hats

today at the flea market I could buy two hats
Once Anton Pichler Graz Trachten hat of 1964
Mayser Milz carat Homburger in almost unworn condition.
Unfortunately, the previous owner tried to remove his name tag and thus damaged the sweat band.
I glued on the back of a leather strip to protect it from further tearing.
Otherwise, top condition
