Thanks Steve. Stanton are good hats but plays in a cheaper league, wrongly. I saw that several times. I saw that many times how cheap this hat were sold.
The Wegener is a funny hat with his short brim and the backbow.

Let's keep picking up those Stantons at cheap prices [emoji4]
The Wegener seems to be a "stingy brim" with back bow. Popular in the 50s. I have a Mayser and Battersby like it from the same decade. I like them very much.

Hello Guys, found two blue hats today in my City at a fleamarket.
The first one was a Stanton made by Mayser or was it F.W.S? Steve you know it.

Manfred, Super finds! "Stanton" is a F.W.S. trademark. I believe this Stanton was made by Tonak.

A similar "horseshoe" crease can be also found on some Western hats.

This one seems to combine the "horseshoe" with an "arrow" crease.

I've seen it on Bavarian/Austrian photos from the 1910-30's. Seems to have been more popular back then, due to the higher hat crowns.
