P. & C. Habig Wien "Special Qualität", 57cm possibly late 1920s very early 1930s. The medium weight felt is really fantastic and easily dry creases. I have no information on H. Peter but I am checking.

I received this interesting update from the Novojičín Museum Museum of Hats. There a 3 catalogs (last 4 photos) which should be of great interest.

Very cool additions, Steve. We need more of these catalogs.

Garrett, My guess is early 1930s maybe a bit earlier. I am not sure if it's a Foulard. This is the only German market Sigma I have record of so not sure it matches the American Market Sigma Foulard Velours (not even sure these are all same due to inconsistencies, see below). I also have no information how such names were applied for different markets and time periods.

American Market "Sigma Foulard Seal" ("Seal" on Liner but not on paper label)

American Market Sigma Foulard (Has non JHS Liner and no "Seal" designation)

American Market Sigma Foulard (missing Liner so not sure if it had "Seal")

American Market Sigma (not sure how Robert came up with this because no info, looks like Seal Velour)

Thanks, Steve. I'm curious what the "J V" model designation stands for on that label?
Garrett, Not sure what it means. My guess for "V" is Velour. There is one other Durit I have record of with the "J V" designation.

http://germanaustrianhats.invisionz...ckel-hutfabrik-weilheim/?view=findpost&p=1100

I also have record of this "Durit" with a "J Etui" designation.

http://germanaustrianhats.invisionz...ückel-hutfabrik-weilheim/?view=findpost&p=808

This Durit has "Durit Vel".

http://germanaustrianhats.invisionz...hne-hückel-hutfabrik-weilheim/page-5#entry596

This Durit just has "Durit".

Garrett, Update. The "J" could be "Jota" so "J V" is "Jota Velour" but just a guess.

This "Jota Seal Velour" and "Jota" have "Jota" on the paper label.
