For Sale: WWII USAAF luggage bag. Nice United States Army Airforce emblem painted on the top. Leather handle, OD canvas. Some of the zippers have breaks in the tracks. I got a message from a member on another forum who stated that this item is not from the WWII era. Perhaps other experts can confirm this and more accurately date it? The emblem certaily looks like something you would expect from the era, but it is true that it says US Air Force, not US Army Air Force. I missed that...

The Air Force terminology seems to make it post 1947, but don't take my word as authoritative, I just work for them.

Well, my guess is that this bag dates anywhere from 1947 into the 1950's. Seeing as it is not WWII I am dropping the price to $30.
