I haven't decided yet, Alan! I have paid my deposit and am awaiting felt samples. I originally wanted to go with a stingy brim but now I am having second thoughts only because I already have more stingy brims than wider brims and I tend to think I look best in a 2 1/4 - 2 1/2" brim. [huh]

Well have fun picking. My personal opinion on a first custom is to go with something very versatile that you'll have on your head all the time. That way you get the most for your money. You can specialize on your subsequent hats.

Thanks! This was my wife's opinion as well and it makes sense to me. The color will most likely be something somewhat neutral and I am now leaning towards a lightweight felt so I can wear it most of the year. I will definitely be sad to see this Lee go. It's a fantastic hat but somethings just aren't meant to be. I'd rather it belong to someone here who can truly appreciate it for what it is.
