FS: Freewheelers San Mateo/ Peter's aviator jacket

It is with great sadness that i am putting my San Mateo up for sale.
Unfortunately this jacket is too small for me, it makes me feel like a leather sausage...
The jacket was bought new in April for 2500$, it was worn indoors for maybe 10 hours and sprayed with purified water a couple times to try to fit it to my body, but to no avail...
I am now letting it go, for 1750$, shipped anywhere in the world, payment via PP F&F.

The jacket is in perfect condition, having never been worn outside. It has no smell other than fresh Shinki. The main zipper is still a bit stiff, but IME with my LaBrea they smooth out with use.

This is an amazing jacket, stitching is perfect, leather is amazing, the natural leather band in the inside looks amazing, the gussets are amazing, the collar is amazing, i really wish i could wear it, but unfortunately the shoulders and arms are too tight for me.

Front length: 20” (from cross of collars to bottom)
Bottom hem: 20” ( could be made 1" tighter or looser with laces)

Absolutely! And not only leather, but the collar and the whole pattern too. Though size 44 would be even better.

My opinion is that it looks very very good on you! I can't see where it is too small on you but of course if you don't feel comfortable wearing it, there is only one choice, selling it even if your selling price for this new jacket is very low IMO....I hope you will find a buyer soon and who knows, perhaps you'll find a size 44 in almost new condition on buyee or somewhere else, soon! Keep fingers crossed!

44 was available when i ordered mine, but i thought i would fit a 42.

Just try to exchange your size 42 for size 44. Your jacket looks unworn/mint new, even with some possible fees from the seller's side it'd be more reasonable probably.

in the same boat - just bought a FW deck jacket - tagged a 40', its more like a 36'.....its at least 2 sizes too small. Lesson learned the hard way.

Body is great, but shoulders and arms are far too small for me.
I can't move my arms at all in it. I literally cannot tie my shoes or hold my phone to my ear whilst wearing it... It is uncomfortably tight.

@breezer which jacket did you get? Might be my size since their deck jackets fit indeed even smaller
