Up for sale is an exceptional find - a great pair of 1940s Northeaster Flying Togs horsehide motorcycle breeches. Northeaster Flying Togs was one of the oldest motorcycle brands in the U.S. based out of Everett Massachusetts. In fact, the company's productions are long believed to be produced by Leathertogs, another equally rare motorcycle company.

These pants are just a fantastic piece of mid-twentieth century motorycle wear. Exceptional craftsmanship utilizing the finest materials and methods of the day are on full display.

The heavy duty horsehide leather on these breeches is in quite nice condition for its age, showcasing beautiful double-stitched French seams. These breeches are fully lined with heavy cotton drill, which remains in good overall condition with only minor wear at the pockets. There appears to be some stitching repairs that were done a long time ago, but the area feels strong. The unique 1940s Talon zippers and United Carr snaps provide a reliable dating to the piece, and all zippers and heavy-duty snap buttons function well. This is a beautiful and rare set of pants, ideal for collectors or enthusiasts of vintage motorcycle gear.

Company Background:

Northeaster Flying Togs was renowned in the mid-20th century for producing high-quality leather garments, particularly for motorcycle and aviation enthusiasts. Their products were known for durability, craftsmanship, and the use of premium materials. The company’s attention to detail and the robust construction of their items have made their vintage pieces highly sought after by collectors today. Their iconic jacket patterns, notably the Beck 333.

Please refer to the measurements as pictured and listed below. Please allow some degree of discrepancy due to human error. Please note that I am not a professional clothier but I do have a good amount of experience in mid-twentieth century American motorcycle wear. Please note that while these breeches are in quite nice condition for its age, minor blemishes and wear points are to be expected for an item of this age. Any significant damage would be detailed.

These great pants will be quickly shipped upon payment . If you have any questions, please reach out.
