Fruit Fetish?

I think there are many of us who love fruit patterned fabrics and jewelry and such. Show us some of your faves!
I would love to make a copy of Marilyn's Misfits cherry dress some day. I also have a sweet multi fruit fabric picked out at Joann's to make a vintage pattern with.
Here's what I wore today. Got the dress at Charlotte Russe a few years ago, and the sweater there recently. I wish the sweater weren't glittery, but I just adored the pockets!

Haha, I think lots of us have a little cherry fetish... they're just too darm cute! And there's always tons of stuff available with cherries. Personally, I have a thing for strawberry accessories and prints... probably due to a childhood filled with Strawberry Shortcake!

While its not exactly a fruit (or it is, depending on what you argue), but when I was little I used to have the cutest little swing-style skirt with tomato slices along the hem... I have no idea what happened to it, but I loved that little skirt when I was about 6... I wore it constantly! lol

And I know its a little fftopic: ohairas, but I simply adore your hairstyle! How many pincurls/rollers/whatevers did you use? In any particular arrangement?

Yes, many vintage loving ladies LOVE the cherries! It's almost funny at times to see dresses auctioned. THe "regular" dresses are going for a price and then a cherry dress/shirt/skirt pops up and goes for twice the price.

I don't have many fruit-y items. I have a grape brooch that I love. I do have a polka dot fetish though. I have almost too many polka dot items.

I'm a total sucker for fruit prints. I have my 50s lime halter dress which I talk about incessantly, with it's matching vintage plastic lime slice bracelet. It's my favorite outfit of all time! I just wish I had some green heels to go with it!

Grace that dress and bracelt are FAB!! What a great halter and fit on you!! I've seen many greens shoes this season, perhaps you will get lucky with the shade. There were some cute green espidrilles on the bay, modern and cheap.

Rosie I think you're right, the cherry stuff does go higher on the autions!

Grace, your dress and bracelet were the first things I thought of when I saw this thread--I adore them both. If *I* can't have them, I'm mgald they are being treasured and worn by you.

I must admit to a bit of a fruit fetish myself. If it's got fruit on it, I naturally want to buy it.

I have a friend that has completely commandeered CHERRIES as her thing. She too has a vintage soul and I must admit I love every outfit.

Another friend is obsessed with all things pineapple and another one loves pears

I myself like plums as far as a fruit motif. But they are kinda hard to find.

I even bid on a vintage dress that I probably couldn't get a leg into, but it had the most darling apple print fabric.

Anyway, keep the fruity dresses coming! Yee ha!

I love fruit on my dresses and shirts. I also love embroidered fruit on linens and linen skirts.

Marzipan shaped as fruit is delicious. I have to stare at it for a while in awe before I woof it down. lol
