Friends,

I will arrive in Normandy early this Sept and was wondering what sites other than the D-Day area are must see? I am touring with Victory tours due to logistics and will be staying in Paris. Any good WWII sites or museums in the Paris area?

Thanks!

All near St Omer, all very interesting and with one ticket you can see all three.

Battery Todt is near Mimoyecques and also very good. If you go into one of the other three un-restored bunkers of a similar size in the nearby woods, you'll see lots of original German murals and wall art too.

There's lots more of course !!

Thanks for the replies, but i should have clarified. I will be traveling by train only, so i am looking for sites accessible without car.

Merci!

You could visit the cemetary at Cherbourg and pay respects to the Union and Confederate sailers buried there!
