I agree! I watched some movie about porcelain dolls coming to life and killing people when I was a kid. It scarred me for life. I do not like porcelain dolls now thanks to my mom.No creepy, vintage porcelain dolls. Yikes!

It appears that these nasty things frightened the children. Even Edison himself called them "Horrid little monsters".
Needless to say they were a terrible flop.
