Hi everyone!

Regrettably up for sale is my ELC A-2 in a size 44 with extra body and sleeve length (see measurements). This is a terrific jacket in every way but the sizing and fit just haven't worked out for me, so I'd love to reinvest the money in a different jacket from Eastman or Aero.

It's from last year (2018). The jacket itself is unbelievably gorgeous and the quality is second to none. Seal Brown warhorse leather. The grain is absolutely insane on this jacket, and the guys down at ELC commented that it was especially nice even by their own high standards when I saw them at the popup!

Looking to trade as I would prefer one size up. It fits well through the body, but I find the shoulders too narrow for my build, and hence I just don't wear it enough. Trying on some of Eastman's other slimmer cuts in a bigger size was a revelation.

It's technically an extra long body/long sleeves, but it's not really that much longer than normal. Check the measurements:

27.25 inch back length
19.5 inch shoulders
23.5 inch pit to pit
26.5 inch sleeves (curve of sleeve from shoulder to cuff)
20 inch waist (laid flat at leather above knits).

I'm in the UK so UK/Europe would be ideal to trade. Will consider any offers from the rest of world too. Let me know!

I'll sell this for £625 to members here on the forum. You can find more pictures on the eBay listing. Feel free to make me an offer on eBay if you prefer to buy that way using the link. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254182379524

I actually just saw this on ebay and then noticed the listing here. Looks pretty sweet and I think it might fit be perfectly. How tall are you? I'm 6'4" and I think I would definitely need an extra long. Only thing I would be wary of is the size. Up until a few months ago, I was a very solid 40L in mostly everything. I had a 42L Eastman M422a and it was just a hair snug so I sold it. I've gained a few pounds over the winter and theres no way that m422a would fit me now. Is the house made Eastman a2 a similar cut to the m422?

I'm also 6 foot 4, so yes, the length should be good for you!

I'd say if your M422a in a size 42L was too snug, this should be a good fit for you. It's a much less 'sculpted' design than the M-422a, so you'll have a little more breathing room around the midsection, but it's still a very neat and tidy cut. The armholes are still pretty high and the overall look is 100% WW2!

Let me know if you want any more information, more than happy to help. Feel free to contact me by eBay too if you'd like.

Yea midsection was the issue for sure. Chest and shoulders were solid. Do you have any pics of how it fits on you?

Here is a fit pic for you. Looks good in the photo, but I’ve gained a little weight since and to be honest I never had any room for layering, hence why I’m now after a size 46. I’m a 44.5 inch chest for reference. As you can see it’s pretty trim on me.

I reckon it should fit you based on what you’ve told me!

I’ll try and snap some more pics later for you.

Looks pretty solid! Yea I’ve tacked on some lbs also. All there is to do in the winter is eat and drink beer! Lol. What would be your best price on it?
