FOR SALE: Cooperman Veteran Model Fife

Some time ago while I was still employed, I purchased a fife from the Cooperman Company, as I had always longed to play the fife. However, with school and work, I never found the time to re-learn music reading, and I couldn't even register a single note on it.

Since then, it has been sitting in my miscellaneous drawer of my dresser.

The list price for the fife is $120 plus shipping, but I'm more than willing to cut my losses and sell it for $85 even though it has basically never been played.

It comes in a wooden box with a barrel swab. At one point I had the fingering chart in there, but I'm going to have to get it out of the drawer too.

Hey DerMann, I play the fife and would buy it. This is a long shot as the post is from 2008..... I don't know but maybe the fife is lying dusty in your closet

I hate to co-opt this thread, but seeing as DerMann's post is so old, I'm going to anyway. I have a Cooperman Traditional Bb Rosewood Fife that is for sale, if you're interested. I have the wooden box, barrel swab, cloth carrying bag and finger chart. It has been in storage for a few years collecting dust, but I did use it for about 3 years in Civil War reenactments as a fifer/drummer. The brass ends show some age, but a little polish will bring them right back. I'm willing to sell for $75 + $10 shipping.

hey Chris! many thanks for the offer. that's a great price and a really nice fife. That said though I am looking for the Veteran model. What group were you with? Ive heard the 26th NC fife and drum group , they are excellent!
