Motor Boots (Brown Overdyed Horsebutt)
I really like those!
It's really good stuff the leather they used is top tier, thicker than any Maryam or Shinki Horsebutt I've worn. Pretty rich dark brown too, although if I had known there was an antique natural brown version Id probably get that one instead since it reminds me of the brown clinch ones. Went 1/2 down my brannock size and have a little heel slip but goes away if I wear a thin ankle sock over a midweight sock.I really like those!
Having a lace up boot from Moto makes me wish to get these Engineers…
They look so much better now! Wow!Got my boots back today they fixed the deep scratch in the right toe. Just can see it at the right angle and can feel it a little. I had them polish/burnish the toes they darkened some like I wanted. They probably used a slightly darker dye after they sanded and filled the scratch. 50 bucks excluding shipping very please. Rago brothers. Took about 2 weeks.

Thanks. They are Honcho Boots of El Paso TX. These are custom chocolate horween cxl horsehide top and bottom. Their website is pretty bad they can make whatever ya want. I stubbled across them they make boots for carters and drews and many other shops. They are not perfect but for this leather and quality construction made in usa for under 400 bucks is pretty damn goodThey look so much better now! Wow!
I really like them. What brand are they?

Nice, Oscar last?Santa came early this year. I took advantage of the black Friday offer by Carmina and got me a pair of derby boots in bourbon shell cordovan; the offer was not in the price but they offered a matching belt (in the same leather) for free.
I will post more when I get to examine them better, the only negatives I find at the moment are the slight mismatching of the panels and how stiff the leather is. In general though I'm impressed.

YepNice, Oscar last?
if it is in your size and it's a good price. . . this is pretty much what my Flame Panda 102 should look like but I opted for a natural edge finish.I'm very tempted - Clinch Horsebutt Monkey boots - here's the link:

First ever tan boots, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. Quick first wear pics. Benzein Side Zip in Camel oiled shinki horse butt.

Nice. I have half an eye out for something like this (ideally with a 'for show' engineer style ankle-strap and buckle) for ease of air travel in the far future when that becomes possible again!
this leather will be a great option for an engineer, so will that engineer project have zippers for closure but retain the ankle strap and buckle for show?
That's the general idea, yeah. I like the buckles for the visual vibe, but a boot where I only need slip up and down a zip when dealing with air travel is the ideal. Not that it's looks like I'll be flying again this side of 2023, but...
