For sale is an out-of-production Flat Head boot that I had sought for years. These came up on the Japanese market a couple of weeks ago, and I thought they might fit, but they’re a bit tight for me. They appear to be new or, at least, worn very sparingly indoors, but I don't know the full background on them.
They're made with Horween Chromexcel cowhide and have a Goodyear-welted Vibram #700 sole. These are marked a size 27.5, which I had read would translate to an 10.5D Brannock, although I also read other accounts that 27.5 Flat Head boots could also accommodate an 11D, my size. I can wear these, but there’s no room for insoles, which I find a must.
