Since the pattern is there now, if you reorder, you shouldn't have to pay this cost. Smaller sizes are probably a bit cheaper. But only Shawn can give you information.

5* CHL jacket I purchased awhile back. The break in process is proceeding along but slowly. I’ve used Obenauf’s Oil treatment and just now URAD applied. Pics are after Obenauf’s and before URAD. Then pics after URAD. The “after” pics are on a hanger as I didn’t want to lay the coat on the bed right after applying URAD.

It certainly looks good by now, but we need to deter Shawn from paying too much attention to western jacket nerds’ demands for “give me the heaviest leather you have”.

He has the customer service instinct to take that seriously without the filter of a more experienced maker like Aero who will interpret it to give the heavier leather of the batch, so he’ll go ahead and have belt leather made for a jacket.

As usual, beautiful jacket! Design and fit are spot on. I expect you to be up on the 5* website as an inspiration for others to buy this jacket. Still trying to decide what my next 5* is going to be.

I’ve tried to get my teenagers into it. Not a chance.
