Aaah, that one. Yep, still have it of course. That jacket belonged to my good friend who gave it to me and I have discovered since that the jacket didn't originally had the zipper but rather that he added it later on. It was such a good job I never noticed, thought it came that way but when I wanted to buy another one, I was quite surprise to discover there was no zipper on it.

I can still take photos if you'd like, no trouble!

Nice! I always thought that was a keeper and saved screenshots of it.
You're friend might be in the wrong trade if he did that perfect diy job lol that job came out so nicely, it looked stock and no wonder you did not notice it too.

My trucker finally arrived today. Some quick first impression thoughts. I’m really really happy with how it turned out! Measurements worked out and the fit is like I wanted it. The premium seal goat exceeded my expectations! Really thick and sturdy and nice grain. Solid straight stitching.
Only downside would be that when it’s buttoned there is some excess material in the back around the waist as you can see on the picture below. I only gave pit to pit and hem measurements, to avois this I probably should have given waist measurements as well. But I don’t think it’s that bad. I can absolutely live with it. What do you guys think?

I am first seeing this and it looks great! I think i would rather have some extra material than having a trimmer waste and a flare thing going on at the hem.

This is so tempting! I have an old deerskin cossack that I might just have re-made in the black deer.

deerskin is only available in black and this cognac color. I am considering the latter.

Thank-you. Unfortunately the jacket design I am working on requires a stiffer and thicker hide. I do like that cognac colour however.

$350, they had to adjust the pattern as its something they don't have (XS in women's)
