for me it always takes several weeks. It seems like my ideas are sometimes too complex. Then it takes time until something feasible comes out.
How are you so accurate with measurements? The fit is always outstanding.

Thank you very much. But it's not that difficult either, since I already have a lot of jackets that I can measure. and then, depending on the thickness of the material, a little is added or removed

Unboxed this morning! Here are some lit shots, not much sun today. I’ll post fit pics in the jacket O’ the day thread when I run to the post office later this am. This goat is entirely different than the seal brown on my other jacket. No squeak, more of a matte finish like the black one. A bit heavier. All in all really nice. The new tag and red liner are sweet!

Holy Crap!!!!!!!!!!! How'd I miss THIS!?!??!?!?!!?!?!?

Looks great Ton!!!!! Dude, you're on like---an eternal winning streak bro!!!!!!! I currently have the 5* Sample pack and I have been screwing around with my design for a custom make for a couple of months on and off. But DAMN if I don't freakin LOVE the Starcadia and now seeing it in Seal, its very very very tempting just to buy one of these babies!!!!!!!!! I really want to do something different and custom but my design does have SOME similarities what you have already perfected and DAMN is that a nice lookin jacket man!!!!!!!!!!!

How could I go wrong with a Tony Starcadia!?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!!?!? The answer is I couldn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm talking myself into this as I'm typing. I can always get a Starcadia and still order something custom later right!?!?!!??!???? I think I'm gonna take the plunge and have my first 5* be a Starcadia bro. Its just too damn nice. Great design. Maybe I'll just do a custom later this year.

Ya talked me into it Ton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do it man! Just a word of warning and so that you get exactly what you want...this one has a modified, Full Monty, no holds barred collar. My first was 3” measured from zipper to collar point and this one is about 5”. Just something to consider when you pick the collar.

the Avoators winter vest was the inspiration. I would like to wear them over my normal leather jackets, but also only with a shirt, e.g. after paddling or camping, when it gets cool in the evening. I hope my given measurements are right.

Awesome - extra curious to see how your vest project turns out now.

yes, the D1 / Trucker is 10 mm and perfect from 0-10 celsius.
The new one is a vest and will be a bit cooler without sleeves. therefore 20 mm. Let's see if my idea works.

I forgot you had that shearling trucker vest going on! I'm sure you'll put it to good use! I need to get some leather vests too to get my @MrProper homage going on

I told myself I wasn’t ordering any more leather jackets. At least until the two on order arrive. But @Jin431 got me thinking ... it doesn’t count if I get something made for the missus, right?

I don’t really see her in a trucker, but maybe a fitted HB. Her tastes are a little more conservative than mine, so I’m open to ideas on good styles for women.

I imagine this would be key to the maintenance of a happy household - for every grand one drops on ANOTHER leather jacket, at least buy your lady a pair of shoes she fancies.

And perhaps her own jacket - in a style SHE favors - for every other one you buy. The problem there is that, for all the problems we men may have with mail-order fittings, to custom fit a jacket for a woman long-distance?! No way that can end well.
