Does anyone have a comprehensive list of what kind of lining they offer? Communication with Five Star is a little slow. These jackets all look amazing btw, definitely got my noggin joggin
Best advice would be to simply ask. Chances are if you want it, they have it. I use the FB messenger app and typically get responses in under a day.Does anyone have a comprehensive list of what kind of lining they offer? Communication with Five Star is a little slow. I actually switched to Whatsapp to communicate this morning and somebody is around and talking to meThere is a lot of radio silence from 5* past couple weeks. I ise WhatsApp, IG and email and replies are few and far between.
I submitted a purchase request several days ago and …. No reply. He/they are either super busy or sick or ?? Oh well.
I actually like both. Color wise the goat is nicer but the steer is a bit heavier and for black…it’ll do!I thought you preferred the thick goat.
Does anyone have any insight about the five star wool lining versus their quilted linings in terms of warmth and durability?
Maybe that or a nice worsted wool, thin yet good at temperature regulation.I also struggle very much with my decision on which lining to use. I know it...
(a) must be a light beige color
(b) can't have any "pattern" of any sort, no squares/lines or any other shapes
(c) must not be too warm
By (c) I mean... medium warmth I'd say. More specifically, that it should be fairly warm when wearing a thicker pullover/sweatshirt underneath during winter, but that I can also wear it on cooler early spring days or autumn with thinner shirts underneath.
Based on all these criteria... would "heavy cotton drill" be appropriate?
Their website also mentions "high quality cotton" lining for many jackets. Is this the same as "heavy cotton drill"?
So their "high quality cotton" lining is the same as the "heavy cotton drill" that keeps getting mentioned on the forum? I've also seen "high quality 100% cotton" on their website, so I don't know if this is different from the regular "without 100%" version.Maybe that or a nice worsted wool, thin yet good at temperature regulation.
Can’t speak to that as I don’t have anything from 5*, but if I was to get a lined leather jacket I’d opt for the all cotton or the wool that I mentioned. So their "high quality cotton" lining is the same as the "heavy cotton drill" that keeps getting mentioned on the forum? Okay, thank you. I guess "high quality 100% cotton" would be the thing I should ask for then, plus the color I want. Can’t speak to that as I don’t have anything from 5*, but if I was to get a lined leather jacket I’d opt for the all cotton or the wool that I mentioned.
Hi everyone,
I just received and never wore this custom black goatskin trucker jacket. It has brass donut buttons instead of snaps. It doesn't fit me correctly so I'm hoping to sell it and try again, adjusting measurements accordingly.
Here are the measurements:
Chest: 22.5"
Shoulder: 19.5"
Sleeve: 25
Waist: 21"
I'm asking $200 shipped in US. Thanks!
Size large is $210 plus $30 shipping.Try the Classifieds, though I'm not sure if people are going to pay more for it than the price of the same jacket brand new and shipped to them.
