Just picked up my new ELC B3 .50Cal in a 46.

Sized up from my original B3 in a 44 (For sale on here now) as although it looked great on it just didn’t feel good… just too restrictive.

So here is my 46.. looks bigger obviously but actually I enjoy wearing this.. what a piece of art! In an ideal world a 45 would be the perfect size but hey ho!

What’s your thoughts on the fit?

Time to bring this thread back to the first page so newbies will know it exists and post their fit check questions here. No good being inundated with fit questions on the main board. PC
Amen to that Peacoat!!
Too bad it doesn’t say jackets in the title.
That would help!

Ps: Peacoat, no crayons were injured during this post, if you know what i mean.

I'm going to move this to the Fit Check thread in Outerwear where you should get a better response.

in the the future it is probably better to post your images in the body of your message rather than as links. Makes it easier on everyone to see them and comment. PC

Now that the thread has been moved, my opinion is that it is a good fit through the shoulders, but it is much too large in the body, and the sleeves are too long. Having long arms, I am sensitive to sleeve length, but even this length would be too long for me.

You need to size down at least one size, and perhaps two sizes, being mindful of losing width in the shoulders.

Thanks for the honest feedback.

I think there is small detail I should have mentioned. I’m doing some bodybuilding, basically bulk and cut phase and now this is the last week I’m slimming and I got down from 100kg to 92 and I’ll start to get bigger again.

I think the correct question would be is absolutely ridiculous to go out like that, is it funny too big? Because soon I will increase in size too.

You won't increase in size through the waist area, and that is where it is too big.

Badalassi Hooch Hauler - I'm blown away by this jacket, and therefore a bit blind to any fit issues - but the back came in almost a full inch shorter than requested, so I'm discussing options with Thurston Bros. In the event Aero will remake the jacket, I have a dilemma...

At the current length the hem is perfect, it just fits over my belt without catching, but I'm having difficulty dialing in the length, because if it gets much longer, the hem mill need to be wider. (I realize this could be addressed with high-rise jeans, but other than this mid-rise pair, all my other jean are low-rise)

Here are a bunch of photos, the last one compares the length my J106.

Ideally, where should the front hit, and do you see other fit areas to address?

The tolerance is +/- 0.5 inch. So if it's almost an inch less, I would have it redone.
And the hem can stay as it is. Why should it be more just because 1 inch is added?
It is really short already. Since you are already having doubts, you will also have doubts in the future. I know that ;-)

1. Incredible looking jacket!
2. Fits you very well, but I'd definitely add more body length and maybe a bit more sleeve length (mine got noticeably shorter with wear).
3. For sure add hem width if you ask for a longer body. Wish mine was a bit wider as well.

Definitely it is too short! If I make it longer, and it hits the curve of my butt, I'm worried that will make the hem too tight. Should a half-belt hit at the bottom of the pants belt, or lower?

Ah, I did not know Aero could add a front drop - 0.5" in the back plus 0.75" in front would bring the front down 1.25" - that would cover the belt nicely - thank you!

@TartuWolf - I double checked the sleeves, they are indeed half an inch shorter than requested - if you don't mind my asking, the fit on your HH looks amazing - what makes you wish for a wider hem?

Well at some point I realized that what you are wearing really influences how much bottom hem width do you need.
No belt + t-shirt -> no belt + shirt + sweater -> ... -> thick belt with thick buckle + thicker shirt + thicker vest + sweater = VERY TIGHT.
