Finshed my first A1

Once again, thanks all. The stitching is all single needle, double pass. I would like to have a double needle machine, but I can't get away with having two industrials in the basement. Even some of the M-422A's were single-needle stitched though (like the Blocks) so it's more or less accurate. I would strongly encourage anyone who has an interest to try and make their own, the machines needed cost less than a new jacket, and all it takes is a middlin amount of hard work and the same obsessive streak most of us already posess... Besides, TV is unbelievably boring these days. :)

I thought your first attempts at jacket making were impressive but this is truly spectacular.

Here is a civil A-2 Mark made last winter. I bought it in February. I've been

wearing it for about 8 months; it is breaking in beautifully.

Never mind me; I exist, it seems, to look goofy in public. The jacket's the thing, and it is sweet.

Wow- has it really been 8 months already? I guess having a kid really warps your sense of time...
Looks great Jack. That was a really good hide, I was looking at a scrap of it earlier this evening while messing around with my sewing machine.
Cheers

Just posting here so I can subscribe to the thread as a reminder to get some photos done of me in the "Spanish Civil War" jacket Mark made, and which I now own. It occurs to me that there must be a select little club of us now wearing genuine Fishmoek-made jackets?? :)
