Wrong. Sellers here often sell at reduced prices so that other hobbyists can enjoy the item. Learn about TFL before sharing your economic wisdom, noob.
Use the Classifieds, or use eBay, or use both. Do what gets you the most monetary and personal satisfaction. But remember, the members of the Fedora Lounge ALWAYS appreciate getting first crack at your treasures.
It doesn't justify creating an unwarranted sense of fear around selling to someone
This is proof that you have not spent any time engaging with the forum. You are talking to someone who posts a new picture of himself looking incredibly delighted with a leather jacket on an almost daily basis—I don’t know Will but based on his jacket of the day posts I can only aspire to such a sunny outlook!Well don't you seem like a pleasant fellow /s
At least join in, or have a interest, did you even introduce yourself? We're not a selling site, that's the butter on the bread and is secondaryYou're free to sell or not sell to whoever you want. It doesn't justify creating an unwarranted sense of fear around selling to someone merely because their account was created recently. The bigger risk is on the buyer's side to trust that an item will actually be sent *after* payment is made.
And, again, this is a directive and not a request.
I'm afraid this is not the case anymore. The Lounge has turned unfortunately into a marketplace. A storm of (new) members with zero contribution except for items for sale. The wealth of information you refer to (and which I enjoyed discovering for many many years) is now buried between the adds. I guess there is a reason old members interact less and less nowadays. The classifieds is just an extension of this
The Microsoft Word jacket has arrived! Will need to wear it out a few times but unfortunately it may be just a tad to small (I can definitely wear it but I'm trying to be good about only keeping stuff that fits just right). Sleeves and length are just a hair short but the chest is tighter when crossing my arms than the pictures would indicate. Definitely fits fine enough but pics might not betray it feeling ever so slightly small.Strongly controlling myself here. If this was in Europe I would had jumped on it already.
This just sold! Did someone here snag it?These Gibson & Barnes Skyliner jackets are typically both USA-made and Goatskin. They represent quite a value on the used market. This "50 Tall" is $130 or best offer and appears almost un-worn.
