I had one of these but without the mouton collar (see my avatar photo). Wore it for many years as my main winter coat. It’s full on, so not for the shy, but I got more spontaneous compliments on it from strangers and friends alike than all my other jackets combined.
Mine was competition hide and a beast, super warm with the wool lining. It sadly got stolen whilst at aero leathers for a reline when the original wool lining wore out. This was during the unfortunate era when the crooked guy was in charge. I eventually got a payoff from Ken Calder once he returned to running aero and they sorted out the mess. But to me it was irreplaceable and I still miss that jacket… if anyone sees one for sale with a leather collar (rather than mouton) let me know, it might be my old jacket and I’d love to get it back…
A sad story (and a sad time for Aero and the Jacket community), I hope you find one to replace it.

Thanks, yeah, to add insult to injury I froze my bum off over winter with no proper winter coat waiting to get my coat back from Aero (even though I’d sent it for the reline work in the spring) until they finally admitted it had disappeared.… In the end I did eventually get a payoff as I had kept proof of delivery to them and the various emails telling me it has arrived with them and was in the queue to get the reline work done. So I got a Pegasus horsehide trench-coat in chocolate brown with the money.. It’s a nice coat and still serves me well. But I still miss my old Vanson In the lovely old competition leather….

Philips 66 steerhide jacket with some cool wear. No measurements. Not a great price but there’s an offer option.
1950s vintage dark brown leather jacket | eBay
Has a nice weathered look to it. Jacket used to have a badge above the chest pocket. You can see where the stitching used to be, which is a cool detail. This was my dad’s jacket in high school, and it has been in storage for 40 years.
